Community banking means doing just more than what your job title is. Most community bankers help out in more than one area of their bank, and also volunteer outside of their bank. Being a community banker means donating your time to various causes in the community whether it’s walking in a parade, speaking at a school, or being a member of one of the many volunteer groups in our community. Community banking is living and being a member of the town you do business in, not just commuting.
